motorola_z8.jpgMotorola Z8 mobile phone has been published on the LetsGoMobile website. Nowadays, more and more inventive ways are used to integrate functions in mobile phones. There are single sliders, double sliders, swivel, clamshell, flip and candy bar models. Even though the latter is the simplest mobile phone, these candy bar models are also further modernized. The Motorola Moto Z8 is a versatile slider cell phone with a high quality 2.2-inch, sixteen million colour screen monitor and numerous functions, like a a 2 Megapixel camera with flash and a multimedia player to play music and movies.
The Motorola Moto Z8 is standard delivered with Motorola Synchronisatie software. This software offers the possibility of connecting your phone through USB or Bluetooth with a computer. Once connected it offers the possibility of synchronizing your handset with the computer in order to get your email settings on your handset. When the cell phone is connected through PCSync it is a piece of cake to manage files like photos, music, ring tones and documents. The connection of my notebook through USB was reasonably fast; transferring 100MB took around 4 minutes.

The Motorola RIZR Z8 comes with an integrated music player which allows the user to enjoy a lively or relaxing music experience when their on the move. The music player supports MP3 music formats as well as other popular formats. The music player allows the user to create their own playlists & add a personal feel to their music experience by adding on screen visualisation to enhance their music. The built in music player comes with a skip feature & shuffle facility which allows the user to control their music easily. The phone supports MP3 & polyphonic sound ringing tones.

The Motorola Z8 is the first Symbian OS phone from Motorola since the A1010 (released as the M1000 in Japan), which was announced at 3GSM in 2005. This is a significant gap and during most of 2005 and 2006 the majority of people assumed Motorola had abandoned Symbian. The news of the Z8 at 3GSM in 2007 was a surprise to many. It also represented something of a shift in strategy for Motorola. Previous Motorola UIQ phones  has been aimed at small market niches for specific operators (the A920, A925 and A1000 were only widely available on the 3 network). Their pen-based input and large size limited the addressable market.
